A family of orcas from the Southern Resident population swims in Puget Sound near Seattle, Washington, with Mt. Rainier in the distance. This population of orcas only eats fish and has been declared "endangered", with the total of individuals only numbering in the 80s. This photograph was taken from shore at Point Robinson Lighthouse on Vashon Island.
